Job summary

RevenueCat is a remote-first company and RC Capital is a zero‑to‑one engineering initiative focused on underwriting, risk monitoring, money movement, and bank integrations. The Engineering Manager will lead the ground-floor engineering for RC Capital, balancing hands-on work with strong technical leadership and strategic planning.

This role requires fintech experience and the ability to maintain overlap with US and European time zones while supporting a distributed team across the US, Canada,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of managing software engineering teams.
• Experience working cross-functionally to build prioritized roadmaps for your teams.
• Hands-on and capable of code reviews and bug investigation.
• Comfort writing SQL queries to analyze data and ensure data integrity.
• Ability to deliver value through iterative development and system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a highly engaged distributed team by hiring, supporting, and coaching the team to deliver consistently and continuously seek ways to make an impact.
• Work cross‑functionally with product, design, and support teams to set direction and anticipate scaling challenges.
• Iterative execution of the roadmap and creation of efficient, transparent processes for delivery.
• Coach and mentor engineers on the team to advance their professional development.
• Collaborate with other engineering managers to improve the organization and foster ownership, belonging, and inclusivity.
