Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an Engineering Manager for the FINT team in FinHub. You will lead a team of engineers, drive the re-architecture of critical account and history systems, and own the FinHub Tools roadmap to accelerate engineering and operations across the company.

You will partner with product and leadership to define quarterly milestones, hire top talent, and ensure high-quality code with robust incident response practices. This role is remote-first with in-person surge sessions.

As an Engineering Manager on the FINT (Financial Intelligence) team within FinHub in the Platform group, you'll lead the engineers building the account and transaction history infrastructure that underpins every Coinbase product. FINT owns the universal account primitive, the real-time transaction history engine, and the internal developer experience platform for FinHub. You'll guide your team through a critical inflection point: re-architecting these foundational systems for the next decade of scale while enabling new financial products like sub-accounts, retirement accounts, and agentic trading experiences.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and grow a team of 6 engineers across multiple levels, coaching on technical excellence, career development, and organizational impact
• Drive the re-architecture of core account and history systems to support new product primitives and higher throughput demands at Coinbase's next stage of growth
• Own the Finhub Tools roadmap, building internal UIs, dashboards, and agentic workflows that accelerate engineering and operations teams across the company
• Shape architectural decisions across distributed systems, streaming pipelines, and full-stack tooling, fostering a culture of high-quality code and thorough design reviews
