Job summary

NEOEx Systems, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the corporate engineering team and support product development for energy, power, and hydrogen systems. You will oversee design, test, and deployment while guiding a growing engineering staff and coordinating with the President & CEO.

You will drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence across multiple programs, mentoring staff and interacting with suppliers and customers as required.

Responsibilities

• Build, structure, and scale engineering teams to keep pace with growth.
• Lead priority, execution, and delivery of engineering programs within scope, timeline, and cost targets.
• Establish a strong engineering culture grounded in technical rigor, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Define team processes, tools, and standards for design, documentation, analysis, and test.
• Drive integration, test, reliability, and deployment from lab to production.
• Lead manufacturing, process, tooling, CAM/CAD, and program engineering activities.
• Develop the scope of all technical work, coordinate the team, evaluate prioritization and assist with problem resolution.
• Evaluate suppliers' capability and capacity to meet production schedule and cost targets.
• Maintain the test facility roadmap — identifying capability gaps and scaling test operations.
• Lead Systems Engineering tasks including requirements management, design control, hazards management, production management, standards certifications, and reviews.
• Assist in Safety and Mission Assurance including safety and reliability management.
• Assist in Product Development including contributing ideas for new designs and fabrication planning.
• Assist in Missions Operations including operations planning and ground operations training.
• Assist in Systems Integration and Test including test planning and testing.
• Assist in hiring and training qualified engineering staff.
• Mentor engineering staff on engineering tasks.
