Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking an Electronics Engineering Manager 1 on-site in Rolling Meadows, IL, to lead the LITENING Manufacturing Engineering team.

You will oversee the assembly, alignment, and test of the LITENING product line and collaborate across functions to meet demanding production goals. The role requires a bachelor's (or master's) in engineering, 5+ (or 3+) years in manufacturing, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in manufacturing.
• Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.
• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes, equipment, software, and test stations for LITENING manufacturing.
• Develop and manage proposals, capacity analyses, and capital equipment forecasting.
• Lead and manage capital projects within the 5-year plan for division initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement to deliver capability faster and more cost-effectively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful outcomes across departments.
• Identify, allocate, and manage engineering resources (staffing and non-staffing).
• Provide day-to-day people leadership to a diverse team.
