Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring an Electronics Engineering Manager 1 for our Rolling Meadows, IL facility. You will lead the LITENING Manufacturing Engineering team, oversee test and process engineering, and coordinate with cross-functional groups to deliver mission-critical hardware on schedule.

The role emphasizes leadership, project management, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field with 5+ years in manufacturing (or Master’s with 3+ years).
• Experience in manufacturing or design and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes, equipment, software, and test stations for LITENING manufacturing.
• Lead capital projects and forecasts to support current and future production contracts.
• Manage cross-functional resources and drive improvements to deliver capability faster and more cost-effectively.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure successful program outcomes.
• Provide day-to-day leadership of a diverse engineering team.
