Job summary

Premier PV is seeking a Design Engineering Manager to lead a team of design engineers, drive eBOS product development, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. You will oversee assignments, mentoring, reviews, and compliance.

The role requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree, 8–12 years of engineering experience with 2–3 in leadership, strong communication, and proficiency with industry standards and NEC/UL/IEEE/NFPA. You will partner with procurement, manufacturing, and estimating.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 8–12 years of engineering experience, with 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Solid understanding of eBOS products and manufacturing requirements.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop design engineers in technical skills and career growth.
• Assign resources, review work, and ensure timely engineering releases.
• Oversee design reviews, compliance documentation, and engineering packages.
• Drive DFx (DFM, DFS, DFI) within product designs.
• Support cost-reduction and continuous improvement across product lines.
• Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing for design feasibility.
