Our mission is to provide innovative, efficient, and reliable products that enhance solar energy systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Lead, mentor, and develop design engineers in technical skills, processes, and career growth.* Assign resources, review work, and ensure timely engineering releases for assigned projects.* Oversee design reviews, compliance documentation, and engineering packages.* Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Serviceability (DFS), and Design for Installation (DFI) principles within product designs.* Support cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across product lines.* Collaborate closely with procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure design feasibility and supplier capability.* Maintain alignment with company standards and applicable codes (NEC, UL, IEEE, NFPA).* Manage and lead electrical engineers, across all project participants, to conceptualize and develop preliminary design documents in accordance with technical, commercial and code compliance requirements.* Establish electrical engineering standards, processes, and automation systems to reduce time, effort, and cost during design process.* Work closely with procurement team to evaluate technology, materials and alternatives that places Primoris in an industry leading position.* Work closely with Estimating team to capture all the scope of work, design aspects and any specific requirements from clients.* Collaborates with the Clients to understand their engineering and design needs.
