Ladders is seeking an Engineering Manager, DevEx to lead developer experience and cloud platform initiatives in a remote, US-based setting. The role emphasizes improving deployment speed, reliability, and engineering productivity by guiding the internal developer platform and tooling.

You will lead a team, define platform strategy, and work cross-functionally to drive self-service, scalable systems while maintaining high standards of execution and collaboration across the organization.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, DevEx to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space.

This leader is looking for an engineering manager to own developer experience and cloud platform outcomes that improve deployment speed, reliability, and overall engineering productivity. You will guide the technical direction for the internal developer platform, partner closely with engineering teams across the organization, and help create scalable self-service systems. This role blends team leadership, platform strategy, and operational excellence in a highly collaborative, cloud-native environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own outcomes for developer and business metrics, with a focus on deployment velocity and system reliability.
• Lead the technical direction for the internal developer platform and cloud infrastructure.
• Build a highly effective team by providing context, autonomy, and ownership.
• Raise standards of execution by standardizing workflows and embedding operational excellence.
• Develop the talent pipeline by hiring, coaching, and retaining exceptional engineers.
