Job summary

Render is seeking an Engineering Manager for Product Engineers to lead a talented group building the core developer experience of the Render platform. You’ll combine technical leadership with product thinking, partnering with product managers and designers to translate user needs into scalable systems that developers rely on every day.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of product engineers, supporting their development through mentorship, feedback, and clear technical guidance.
• Drive execution on key product initiatives from ideation through launch, balancing speed with high standards of reliability and quality.
• Partner closely with Product and Design teams to translate customer needs into thoughtful technical solutions and product roadmaps.
• Engage deeply in technical discussions, guiding system design decisions and helping the team navigate architectural tradeoffs.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across engineering practices and team processes.
• Help the team break down complex problems into incremental milestones that deliver value quickly while supporting long‑term platform evolution.
• Ensure teams maintain a strong understanding of the developer experience and customer impact of the features they build.
• Stakeholder collaboration with product management, customers, and internal teams to understand needs and align priorities.
