Job summary

Render is seeking an Engineering Manager for Product Engineers to lead a team delivering the core developer experience on the Render platform. You will blend technical leadership with product thinking, partnering with product managers and designers to translate user needs into scalable, high-quality systems used by developers every day.

You will guide technical direction, grow engineers, and ensure the team ships meaningful improvements quickly while upholding Render’s high standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as an Engineer shipping products or features with business impact.
• 2+ years of people management experience, including hiring and performance management.
• Strong technical background with system design, architecture, and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of product engineers, providing mentorship and clear technical guidance.
• Drive execution on key product initiatives from ideation through launch, balancing speed with reliability and quality.
• Partner with Product and Design to translate customer needs into technical solutions and roadmaps.
• Engage in technical discussions and guide system design decisions across the team.
• Foster ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
