Anthropic is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Data Warehouse & Streaming Infra team. You will own the data platform, drive end-to-end data ingestion, processing, and governance, and partner across finance, product, research, and engineering to meet evolving business needs.

This high-visibility role demands hands-on technical judgment and people leadership, with a focus on building a scalable, reliable data stack across multiple clouds and driving long-term strategic vision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience leading data infrastructure teams.
• Strong people leadership with ability to mentor engineers.
• Deep hands-on expertise in batch and streaming data infrastructure.
• Experience shipping scalable data platforms across multiple clouds.
• Track record of delivering reliable, cost-conscious data systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Data Warehouse & Streaming Infra team with ownership of roadmap and delivery.
• Define end-to-end data platform capabilities including ingestion, processing, storage, and governance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, Research, and Engineering to align data initiatives with business goals.
• Drive hiring and establish data quality standards, SLAs, and observability.
• Make platform decisions on technologies and deployment models for scale.
