Job Summary:

Our ability to attract new clients is at the center of our continued success. As we’ve continued to grow - the success of our growth efforts relies increasingly on the digital experience, processes, and technologies that we offer to prospects, clients, as well as our own employees.

As the Engineering Manager, CRM you are responsible for managing and executing the digital experiences and technologies that support our growth. You will be a key partner to achieve our growth targets – and will design and own digital experiences, technology, and processes - including integrations with partners. As a key-leader on our cross-functional team, you will be co-accountable for our OKRs.

You will provide organizational vision, leadership and strategy for our processes and products. You will be deeply hands on with the related technology (ensuring exceptional product day-to-day administration, data quality, user support) as well as establishing the long term vision, managing the overall roadmap enhancements, including system architecture, custom development, data integration, and ongoing release management. To be successful in this role, you must both have terrific operational skills and be able to think strategically about how the products can further enhance our business and how to successfully integrate acquired firms. A successful candidate will act like “employee #2” at a fast-moving startup and think like a “Growth CTO” for an established industry leader.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage the CRM Team that executes all the activities related to the design and development of the CRM product and integrations, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce CRM architecture and customization.
  • Partner with the M&A team, Acquisition, and external vendors to ensure successful CRM migrations, including Salesforce data mapping, sandbox testing, and deployment strategies.
  • Understands business needs and how CRM capabilities—particularly Salesforce features such as Flow, Apex, and Lightning Components—can help solve business problems.
  • Provides strategic direction across all lines of business to support the CRM environment, leveraging Salesforce best practices and scalable design.
  • Prepares, manages, and maintains documentation of current business processes, SLAs, controls, and KPIs, including those related to Salesforce CRM and AI-driven automation tools.
  • Builds and continuously refines the CRM platform roadmap in close collaboration with business stakeholders, incorporating innovations such as Agentic AI code generation to accelerate development cycles.
  • Collaboratively defines and documents functional and technical requirements and specifications, business processes, workflows, and reporting outputs, with a focus on Salesforce CRM and AI-enhanced development tools.
  • Identifies gaps and risks in business requirements and resolves those issues using Salesforce diagnostic tools and AI-assisted analysis.
  • Organizes technical projects from beginning to end; identifies and prioritizes actionable steps, including the use of Agentic AI and prompt first development tools to streamline code generation and testing.
  • Manages a portfolio of integrations and projects from planning to execution, including Salesforce AppExchange solutions and custom API integrations.
  • Develops repeatable processes that accelerate integrations and ensure timely communication of events, leveraging AI-driven automation and Salesforce DevOps pipelines.
  • Other duties requested and assigned by Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Information System
  • At least five years’ experience in Finance or the Wealth Management space required.
  • At least five years’ experience working with and administering Salesforce CRM required, including hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web

  • Experience in workflow process automation such as Conga Orchestrate is preferred.
