Job summary

Verkada is looking for an experienced manager to join the Core Platform team. You will be the architect, designer, and developer across a broad range of projects for our operating system for buildings, enabling rapid delivery of IoT devices and services.

As a leader, you will guide frontend and backend engineers, write code, prototype features, and partner with Product and Design to ship delightful experiences while promoting best practices and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects impacting the Command product across frontend and backend.
• Contribute by writing code or prototyping new features.
• Inspire the team to deliver polished user experiences.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to ship features and delight users and customers.
• Define goals, priorities and processes with engineering leaders.
• Drive best practices, coding standards, and maintainable code.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and assess impact on web platforms.
