Job summary

Google Kirkland, WA, is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Capsium Infrastructure team within Identity and Access Management. You will own a global serving platform delivering policy-based access checks across regions and services, shaping the architecture for high availability and low latency.

The role requires strong technical leadership, experience scaling platforms, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while partnering with SRE and cloud leaders.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or compute/storage hardware.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in people management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing engineering team across Capsium Infrastructure.
• Define and drive a multi-year technical roadmap for GCP authorization infrastructure.
• Oversee complex projects through the full software lifecycle with high reliability and security.
