Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• 3 years building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or related compute/storage hardware.
• 2 years in people management or team leadership.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• 3 years in a complex, matrixed organization (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate team priorities aligned to broader goals.
• Define expectations based on level and roles, with regular performance discussions.
• Develop mid-term technical goals and roadmaps for multiple teams.
• Guide system designs and contribute code to solve ambiguous problems.
• Review fellow engineers' code to ensure best practices and quality.
