Job summary

Google is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performance team responsible for Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies across Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will guide technical strategy, oversee large-scale security infrastructure, and ensure scalable, secure access for human and autonomous identities.

You will manage multiple teams and locations, drive project goals, and partner with Cloud leaders to deliver secure, reliable solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems.
• 3 years of experience in a people management role managing software engineering reports.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers, coaching them to grow their skills.
• Cultivate deep technical expertise in building and operating hyper-reliable GCP infrastructure and access control enforcement.
• Drive complex technical projects with lifecycle oversight from requirements to support.
