Job summary

DAT is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Carrier Services Board to lead a critical data-driven platform. You will mentor 5–8 engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure delivery aligns with the product roadmap.

Pose technical leadership in migrating a legacy system to a modern, cloud-native Kubernetes environment while maintaining customer value and minimizing disruption.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 5+ years of software engineering experience with mentoring or management.
• Experience delivering complex software end-to-end from requirements to production.
• Strong knowledge of modern product development frameworks and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a 5–8 person software team; conduct regular 1:1s and reviews.
• Partner with Product Management to align engineering with roadmap priorities.
• Own sprint planning, backlog, and delivery forecasting while managing scope.
• Drive modernization: migrate legacy code to cloud-native architecture on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to define target-state architecture and tooling.
