Job summary

Zions Bancorporation is seeking an Engineering Manager for CIAM in Salt Lake City. You will lead a technical team focused on identity, authentication and access management for customer-facing applications, shaping the engineering roadmap and cloud-native transition.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture, and collaborate with product and security teams to ensure secure, scalable identity services across the enterprise. Onsite in Midvale, UT with a strong technology campus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with Java, Spring Boot and microservices in large-scale environments.
• 2+ years in engineering leadership or management with mentoring and delivery experience.
• Cloud-native architectures, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and secure APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and modern source control.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and high-level architectural guidance for CIAM systems.
• Lead cloud modernization and transition to secure, cloud-native environments.
• Direct design, development and maintenance of CIAM platforms for enterprise use.
• Mentor engineers, foster secure coding practices and Agile/DevOps culture.
• Collaborate with product, security and IT leadership to define tech roadmap.
• Guide incident response and ensure reliability, security and scalability.
