Job summary

Wayve is seeking an Engineering Manager, Cloud Infrastructure to lead a seasoned Platform Engineering team responsible for our multi-cloud foundation. You will shape a scalable, cost-aware cloud base used by every engineering group.

In this role you will own the technical roadmap, drive modernization with your team, partner with Security on governance, and mentor engineers while aligning with business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as engineering manager in software or DevOps.
• Experience balancing project work with operational load.
• Strong roadmap planning and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on with a major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Platform Engineering team with visibility across the engineering org.
• Drive the technical roadmap for cloud infrastructure with the tech lead.
• Own cost visibility and efficiency as cloud usage scales.
• Partner with Security on governance, access, and compliance.
• Balance resourcing against business needs and individual capacity.
• Keep prioritization sharp and processes lean.
• Hire and grow the team, pitching investments to leadership.
• Contribute to day-to-day operations of the Software team.
