Job summary

Lead a growing team, partner with internal and external customers, and drive reliability and scalable operational practices while shaping the roadmap for complex, high-visibility billing use cases.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements listed: 4+ years of engineering management experience, leading teams of 5+ engineers.
• 8+ years of full-time software development experience.
• Proven ability to drive decision-making and partner across teams.
• Strong focus on reliability, ops health, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for the core architecture enabling billing configuration complexity and extensibility.
• Own the technical strategy and roadmap for billing configuration.
• Drive operational excellence across billing infrastructure systems.
• Hire and develop engineers as the team expands into new scope.
• Partner with stakeholders across organizations to deliver billing solutions.
• Work backwards from internal and external customer needs to define priorities and scope.
• Define and uphold engineering standards across a team owning business-critical billing infrastructure.
