Job summary

Stripe Billing is seeking a Product Manager to own the strategic direction of the Billing platform, collaborating with engineering, design, data science, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable features.

You will understand user needs, develop long-term plans, shape product growth, and drive adoption of Stripe Billing across startups and enterprises.

This hybrid/remote US role offers a competitive base salary, equity, and benefits as part of Stripe's compensation package.

Qualifications

• 10+ years relevant product management experience.
• Strong technical skills e.g., ability to gain an in-depth understanding of software systems, build a robust integration with the Stripe API, make meaningful contributions to API design, data modeling and software architecture
• Strong customer empathy across different segments and personas: from startups to large enterprises, across engineering and finance functions
• Strong product sense: ability to understand user needs in-depth and build delightful product experiences to solve them
• Strong communication skills: ability to synthesize complex discussions, write succinctly and present to senior stakeholders both within and outside Stripe

Responsibilities

• Understand user needs, develop long-term product plans to solve categories of problems for our users and shape specific product features.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data science and customer-facing teams to ensure successful product releases and adoption.
• Articulate product vision, develop annual and quarterly plans, and work with other functions to deliver solutions to users.
• Split time between external meetings with customers and internal discussions with cross-functional teams to scope and execute the work.
