Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Senior Lead for Site Reliability and Backend Engineering to hire, grow, and guide a fully remote team across time zones. You will balance production reliability with platform projects including zero-downtime migrations and durable workflow improvements.

You will own SLOs, incident response, capacity planning, and on-call rotations, serving as incident commander for high-severity events. Strong Redis/Sidekiq expertise and proven distributed leadership are essential to deliver
