Datadog is seeking a Manager I, Engineering – Anomaly Detection in New York, NY. You will lead a team responsible for building scalable anomaly detection signals, combining traditional ML and modern AI techniques to monitor vast telemetry data.

Lead delivery, partner with product and applied scientists, and push for robust, safe AI-native practices. Hybrid work model and equity opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading robustness in distributed systems with AI/ML components.
• Experience building scalable production ML/AI systems.
• Strong collaboration across product, eng, and data science teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an engineering team of 8, setting direction and owning delivery.
• Own roadmap and execution for key anomaly detection signals.
• Collaborate with product management and applied scientists on evaluation and quality.
• Build and operate ML and LLM-based systems at scale with safe, auditable processes.
