Job summary

Siemens Software is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a multi-functional, agile team of local and external developers, aligning with Product Management and Software Operations to deliver production-grade systems.

You will steer the PSP toward an AI-ready platform, driving innovations, transitioning to a modern UI, and deepening integrations with enterprise platforms like Salesforce (SFDC) and Polarion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or equivalent.
• 5–10 years hands-on software engineering and application development.
• 5+ years in complex, enterprise-level software ecosystems or large-scale digital transformation.
• At least 1–2 years direct people management / team lead experience.
• Proven experience collaborating with Product Management and Software Operations to deliver production-grade systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-functional Agile team including local and external developers.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code-quality accountability.
• Design and architect robust software systems and lead re-architecting of critical components.
• Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of software products.
• Influence the technical roadmap and promote new technologies to the team.
• Perform advanced programming and analysis with autonomy on complex projects.
• Collaborate with customers on future upgrades and environments.
