Job summary

Siemens Software is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a multi-functional, agile team of local and contractor developers. You will partner with Product Management and Software Operations to orchestrate seamless software delivery aligned with business objectives.

You will guide architecture, drive AI-ready platform evolution, and deepen integrations with Salesforce (SFDC) and Polarion while mentoring engineers and promoting innovation across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or equivalent.
• 5–10 years hands-on software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise-scale software environments or digital transformation.
• 1–2+ years direct people management or team leadership.
• Experience collaborating with Product Management and Software Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering staff, including hiring, training, appraisals and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Architect and design robust software systems and oversee major re-architecting efforts.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of software products.
