Job summary

6sense is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive sprint delivery for a 6–12 person team, balancing AI-assisted workflows with human decision points. You will shape architecture, guide code reviews, and coordinate cross-functional priorities across product, design, and engineering.

You will bring a strong background in platform/API/infrastructure, mentor engineers, and ensure robust delivery against roadmap milestones, with a focus on scalable systems and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with team mgmt experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted output and architecture depth
• Background in platform, API, data, or infrastructure engineering
• Proficiency in Python or Java; strong code review & design
• Familiar with distributed systems, data pipelines, or APIs

Responsibilities

• Lead sprint delivery for a team of 6–12 engineers
• Coordinate sequencing across people and AI-assisted workflows
• Maintain JIRA, ProductBoard, and dependency tracker
• Track cycle time and defects, own trend analysis
• Define what needs human sign-off and what can be spot-checked
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and patent work
