Job summary

Klaviyo’s Amplify Engineering team is seeking an Engineering Manager to guide multiple product-facing and internal tool teams. You will shape technical strategy, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable software across internal platforms and AI-powered automation.

In this role, you’ll partner with product, design, and stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable solutions, while advancing an AI-first mindset and driving fast, high-quality outcomes for thousands of Klaviyos.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years as an engineering manager leading cross-team initiatives.
• BA or BS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with AI tools and workflows (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams and set the technical vision for internal tools and platforms.
• Own a portfolio of systems across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service with AI-powered workflows.
• Balance technical leadership with people management to enable delivery.
• Partner with product, design, and senior stakeholders to translate challenges into scalable software.
• Foster AI-first mindset and drive incremental, high-impact improvements.
