Job summary

Ledgy is seeking an hands-on Engineering Manager to guide a team building compensation and savings platform features. You’ll balance technical leadership with hands-on coding and deliberate AI tool use to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.

You’ll work to keep engineers engaged, coach career growth, and partner with Product and Design to turn domain needs into compelling user experiences. London or Zurich hybrid is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Engineering Management and 6+ years as a Software Engineer
• Experience in product-focused or domain-heavy roles
• Strong people-development and performance feedback skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of engineers with regular 1:1s and performance conversations
• Set technical and product direction with the team
• Stay involved in code reviews, architecture discussions, and selective hands-on work
• Partner with Product and Design to translate complex needs into usable experiences
