EarnIn is pioneering earned wage access and empowering real-time financial flexibility for everyday people. We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack team (backend and mobile) and contribute hands-on to early-stage product development.

This hybrid role is based in Mountain View with in-office work two days a week. You will mentor engineers, embed AI practices into planning and execution, and shape technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Lead a full-stack engineering team (backend and mobile) with hands-on contributions.
• Influence product direction and technical roadmaps for early-stage products.
• Apply AI-native engineering workflows using Cursor and Claude.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in CS or related field with 7+ years of experience and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance management lifecycle for your team.
• Translate ambiguous business goals into strategic technical roadmaps.
• Drive architecture and implementation of new features for scalable products.
• Recruit and develop a top-tier engineering team.
• Collaborate with PMs, Analysts, and mobile/backend engineers.
