Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software development or related field.
- Total 8–10 years in software development with 3–5 years in leadership or people management.
- Experience leading and managing software development teams.
- Strong foundation in modern application development practices.
- Experience coaching engineers and supporting growth.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve application development capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership for design, development, maintenance, and health of applications.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, testing practices, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to adopt AI tools and add intelligence layers to workflows.
- Ensure maintainability, performance, security, scalability of applications.
- Coach and develop team members and address skill gaps.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Architects on Agile development and alignment.
- Provide input into backlog refinement, estimation, feasibility, and roadmap planning.
- Remove impediments and ensure operational stability across lifecycle stages.
- Contribute to IT strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead by example as a servant leader and mentor.
