Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold U.S. Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 10–15 years of mechanical/aerospace systems engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing a high performing aerospace technical team of 10 or more.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Represent Reno Engineering team to visitors of the facility and be an ambassador for Voyager Defense Segment Reno Site.
• Monitor the morale and motivation of the team; communicate company objectives and maintain regular information sharing.
• Work with program management and senior leadership to adjust staffing to meet program demands.
• Support performance appraisals, merit increases, promotions, and annual reviews.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
