Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Lead Advanced Vehicle Innovation & Customer Engineering Solutions Manager in the Glendale Heights, IL area to drive complete vehicle integration projects for OEM customers. You will lead cross-functional teams across hydraulics, controls, software, and electromechanical disciplines, coordinating from concept to production while ensuring performance and cost targets.

The role combines technical leadership with customer engagement, project management, and strategic business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• Progressive leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong customer-facing engineering experience.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects from concept through production.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Serve as primary technical interface between customers and internal teams
• Partner with OEMs to understand requirements and develop system solutions
• Lead from concept through prototype, validation, testing, and production
• Coordinate vehicle integration using hydraulics, electronics, controls, and software
• Oversee prototype builds, validation, and customer demonstrations
• Collaborate to meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives
• Present concepts and engineering solutions to customers and executives
• Support business development by identifying opportunities and strengthening relationships
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes and product development
