Vogrinc Search Group is seeking an Engineering Manager for a well-respected manufacturer in Valparaiso, IN. This role reports to the President and blends hands-on mechanical design with strategic leadership to drive product development.

You will own development from concept to launch using 3D CAD, drive improvements in performance and manufacturability, and mentor a small team while coordinating with quality, purchasing, sales, and service.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years of mechanical design/product development experience.
• Strong 3D CAD skills with a track record from concept to production.
• Familiar with DFMA, FMEA, DOE and structured engineering documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited direction.
• Experience coordinating with outside manufacturers or engineering firms is a plus.

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function and drive product development for a well-respected manufacturer in Valparaiso IN.Reporting directly to the President, the Engineering Manager will have significant responsibility and autonomy in determining how engineering projects are approached, prioritized, and executed, and will spend a large portion of their time working hands-on directly on mechanical design, product improvements, prototyping, testing, and new product development.
