Princeton Search Partners is partnering with our client on a retained search for the role of Engineering Manager. This position will be located in Joplin, MO.

The Engineering Manager will lead the planning and execution of capital and engineering projects across multiple manufacturing facilities within an assigned region. This role will manage projects involving line upgrades, process improvements, equipment installations, and facility expansions while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering/project management experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience managing capital projects, contractors, equipment installations, budgets and schedules.
• Ability to read blueprints and work with CAD software.
• Knowledge of automated equipment, processing systems and maintenance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
• Beverage manufacturing experience, particularly canning operations, preferred.
• PMP, Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-to-large capital and engineering projects across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, suppliers, contractors and equipment procurement.
• Support plant leadership in developing capital plans and budgets.
• Drive equipment and production-line performance through data analysis and root cause analysis.
• Improve reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Ensure new equipment is designed and installed for long-term reliability and maintainability.
• Coordinate closely with production, maintenance, quality, safety and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, OSHA, environmental and corporate standards.
• Provide technical engineering support across the organization.

The Opportunity

The Engineering Manager will lead the planning and execution of capital and engineering projects across multiple manufacturing facilities within an assigned region. This role will manage projects involving line upgrades, process improvements, equipment installations, and facility expansions while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The position will also play a key role in improving equipment reliability, line performance, and long-term operational efficiency across processing, filling, and packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead medium-to-large capital and engineering projects across multiple manufacturing sites
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, suppliers, contractors, and equipment procurement
• Support plant leadership in developing capital plans and budgets
• Drive equipment and production-line performance through data analysis and root cause failure analysis
• Improve reliability, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance strategies
• Ensure new equipment is designed and installed for long-term reliability and maintainability
• Coordinate closely with production, maintenance, quality, safety, and engineering teams

Candidate Profile
