Established Search are partnered with a global manufacturer in the beauty and personal care sector seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high performing manufacturing operation.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on turning engineering strategy into measurable improvements across reliability, productivity, safety, quality and cost, while mentoring a technical team and delivering major capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years experience across Engineering and/or Maintenance.
• Experience leading teams.
• Track record of delivering capital projects and engineering improvements from concept through to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, maintenance and facilities teams, setting priorities and developing a high performance culture.
• Manage engineering and capital projects from concept through installation, validation, commissioning and handover.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability, OEE, uptime, productivity and operating costs through Lean manufacturing and RC strategies.
• Develop and execute the site's CapEx strategy, including budgeting, prioritisation and delivery of major equipment and infrastructure investments.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being close to the operation, leading from the front and turning engineering strategy into measurable improvements across reliability, productivity, safety, quality and cost.

You will have the opportunity to influence major capital projects, equipment performance, continuous improvement and new product introductions whilst developing and mentoring a talented technical team.

The Opportunity

As the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:

• Leading engineering, maintenance and facilities teams, setting priorities and developing a high performance culture.
• Managing engineering and capital projects from initial concept through installation, validation, commissioning and handover.
• Driving improvements in equipment reliability, OEE, uptime, productivity and operating costs through Lean Manufacturing and reliability-centred strategies.
• Developing and executing the site's CapEx strategy, including budgeting, prioritisation and delivery of major equipment and infrastructure investments.
• Leading equipment installation, validation, process improvements and engineering support for new product introductions.

What We Are Looking For

You will ideally bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years experience across Engineering and/or Maintenance.
• Experience leading teams.
• A track record of delivering capital projects and engineering improvements from concept through to implementation.
