Job summary

Beacon Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers, firmware developers, and embedded specialists. You will blend technical leadership with people management and coordinate with product, UX/UI, QA, and marketing to deliver connected products.

You will translate business needs into technical plans, establish code standards, remove roadblocks, and drive continuous improvement while supporting production and global collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1-5 years of engineering leadership or management experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with C++, C#, or Java.
• Experience with Python or JavaScript and UI application development.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, MCU, and ARM-based platforms.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and technical documentation.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex technical projects.
