Job summary

Zentis USA in Plymouth, Indiana is seeking an engineering leader to drive technical excellence and production improvements on-site. You will mentor engineers, manage capital projects, and ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget, collaborating with production, QA, maintenance and IT, and with the Central Engineering team in Germany.

The role emphasizes developing standards, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives to sustain efficiency, safety and product quality across the site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing/food/consumer products.
• Experience leading engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record managing capital projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering team members in technical excellence and production best practices.
• Promote a culture of innovation, safety and continuous improvement.
• Lead projects from concept to implementation and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, IT and the Central Engineering team in Germany.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance safety, productivity and quality.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, root-cause solving and sustainable solutions.
• Support equipment upgrades, expansions, and new technology implementations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

• Supportequipmentupgrades,expansions,facilityimprovements,andnewtechnologyimplementation.
• CollaboratewithCentralEngineeringandglobalstakeholdersonstrategicinitiativesandequipmentinstallations.
• Ensurecompliancewithsafetyandindustrystandards.

FormalEducationRequired:

• Bachelor'sdegreeinMechanicalEngineering,ElectricalEngineering,ChemicalEngineering,IndustrialEngineering,orarelatedengineeringdiscipline.

SpecificExperienceandKeyKnowledgeRequirements:

• 5+yearsofengineeringexperiencewithinamanufacturing,industrial,foodproduction,consumerproducts,pharmaceutical,orsimilarenvironment.
• Priorexperienceleading,mentoring,ormanagingengineersandtechnicalteams.
• Provensuccessmanagingcapitalprojectsandcross-functionalinitiatives.
• Strongprojectmanagementskillswiththeabilitytobalancemultipleprioritiesinafast-pacedenvironment.
• Excellentcommunication,leadership,andstakeholdermanagementskills.
