Job summary

Zentis Europe is hiring on-site in Plymouth, Indiana for an engineering leadership role focused on production excellence and continuous improvement. • Proven experience leading, mentoring, or managing engineers and technical teams.

PrimaryResponsibilities

ProjectManagement

• LeadEngineeringprojectsfromconcepttoimplementation.
• Ensureprojectsaredeliveredsafely,ontime,andwithinbudget.
• Establishprojectprioritiesandallocateresourcestosupportbusinessobjectives.
• Coordinatewithcross-functionalteamsinProduction,Quality,Maintenance,andITaswellaswiththeCentralEngineeringteamheadquarteredinGermany.

EngineeringProcessImprovement

• Identifyopportunitiesforprocessimprovementsthatenhancesafety,productivity,quality,andoperationalefficiency.
• Buildandstrengthenengineeringprocesses,standards,andbestpracticesacrossthesite.
• Drivecontinuousimprovementeffortsthroughdataanalysis,rootcauseproblemsolving,andimplementationofsustainablesolutions.

ProductionSupport&Optimization

• Supportequipmentupgrades,expansions,facilityimprovements,andnewtechnologyimplementation.
• CollaboratewithCentralEngineeringandglobalstakeholdersonstrategicinitiativesandequipmentinstallations.
• Ensurecompliancewithsafetyandindustrystandards.

FormalEducationRequired:

• Bachelor'sdegreeinMechanicalEngineering,ElectricalEngineering,ChemicalEngineering,IndustrialEngineering,orarelatedengineeringdiscipline.

SpecificExperienceandKeyKnowledgeRequirements:

• 5+yearsofengineeringexperiencewithinamanufacturing,industrial,foodproduction,consumerproducts,pharmaceutical,orsimilarenvironment.
• Priorexperienceleading,mentoring,ormanagingengineersandtechnicalteams.
• Provensuccessmanagingcapitalprojectsandcross-functionalinitiatives.
• Strongprojectmanagementskillswiththeabilitytobalancemultipleprioritiesinafast-pacedenvironment.
• Excellentcommunication,leadership,andstakeholdermanagementskills.
