Job summary

JMJ PHILLIP is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering initiatives, develop technical solutions, and support operational excellence across a manufacturing environment in Pennsauken, NJ.

You will mentor engineers, manage projects from concept to completion, drive continuous improvement, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Progressive engineering experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new technologies and technical solutions that can improve operational performance.
• Provide engineering support for equipment, systems, processes, and facility-related initiatives.
• Oversee equipment installations, modifications, commissioning, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet applicable safety, quality, regulatory, and operational standards.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments to address business needs.
• Translate operational requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
• Support capital planning and technical evaluations for future investments.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Support risk assessments and implementation of appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Promote safe engineering practices across projects and operations.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Progressive engineering experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility.

• Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
