Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing process development, tooling, plant layouts, and assembly.
• Experience with automation, robotics, CNC manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing technologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers, providing guidance and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Optimize processes, layouts, tooling, fixtures, and material flow for efficiency.
• Lead capital equipment, automation, and process-improvement projects from planning to implementation.
• Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain for new product introductions.
• Develop and maintain standardized manufacturing documentation (process flows, control plans, work instructions).
• Monitor performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to improve results.
• Evaluate and implement automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

This individual will be a leader of the Manufacturing Engineering team and drive operational excellence across multiple production facilities. This leadership role is responsible for improving manufacturing processes, supporting new product introductions, developing the team members and their capabilities, executing capital projects, and developing scalable production solutions that enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on engineering leader with prior management and development experience in a Lean manufacturing environment that understands continuous improvement and team development within a manufacturing and assembly environment.
