Jobot is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for medical devices in Charlotte, NC. The role combines hands-on engineering leadership with strategic project management to drive manufacturing performance, process improvements, and transfer activities for complex medical device products.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in engineering in medical devices, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and experience with design transfer, automation, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Experience with medical device manufacturing, product/process transfer, and design transfer.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and process development.
• Experience with process validation, process capability, GR&R, and statistical analysis.
• FDA-regulated and/or ISO 13485 experience preferred.
• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects and mentoring engineers.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Experience with automation, ERP systems, and SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, project management, and hands-on manufacturing skills

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team while remaining hands-on with challenging engineering projects.
• Drive process optimization, automation, validation, and advanced manufacturing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and customers.
• Direct product launches, manufacturing capability, quality, cost, and production performance improvements.
• Manage complex engineering programs from concept to transfer and scale-up.

Job Details

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
