Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions seeks an Engineering and Maintenance Manager in the Mansfield, OH area to lead engineering and maintenance in a fast-paced automotive supplier site. You will report to the Plant Manager and manage both direct and indirect reports, driving reliability, capital projects and continuous improvement.

The role requires a technical degree, manufacturing leadership experience across multi‑shift operations, and a proven track record in cost control and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering management experience.
• Experience managing others in a multi-shift environment.
• Strong continuous improvement background.
• Experience with automated environments and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor the engineering and maintenance team.
• Manage day-to-day production engineering needs.
• Improve manufacturing processes by eliminating bottlenecks and improving throughput.
• Champion projects to completion within budgets and timelines.
• Oversee the annual capital equipment budget.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to completion.
• Support electrical troubleshooting, including PLCs and automation.
• Lead validation of new equipment and presentations on project status.
