Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead engineering, design and installation of capital projects at the Lithia Springs site. You will manage preventive maintenance, budgets for capital equipment, repair and labor, and oversee daily facility operations.

The role requires TPM experience, industrial automation knowledge, and strong leadership to coach engineers and technicians toward safety, quality and cost goals.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or closely related field
• 5–8+ years in Engineering Management
• 3+ years people management
• TPM experience required
• Industrial automation experience required
• ASQ CQE/CQA/CQM certification is a plus
• Lean skills including Kaizen, VSM, Six Sigma Green Belt preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering, design and installation of capital equipment and line upgrades
• Develop and manage plant capital and capacity plans
• Hire, train and manage engineers and technicians
• Oversee construction and repair projects
• Drive continuous improvement using CMMS and preventive maintenance
• Manage budgets for capital equipment, repair, maintenance and labor
• Ensure safety, quality and cost goals across plant operations
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems
• Coach and evaluate performance of direct reports
