Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks a Senior ETS Technician to support multiple manufacturing facilities with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of production equipment. You will work with PLC-based systems, hydraulics, and CAD interpretation across sites.

This role requires 7+ years in industrial maintenance, strong PLC knowledge (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), CAD reading, and heavy travel (50–75%). The company offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of PLC systems and basic programming.
Ability to read CAD drawings and electrical schematics.
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Willingness to travel 50–75% as required.
Experience with equipment installation, alignment, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

Travel to multiple plants to support installation, startup, and commissioning.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Install and maintain PLC-based control systems and perform diagnostics.
Read electrical schematics and CAD drawings for troubleshooting.
Support new equipment integration and production ramp-up.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations to improve processes.
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and changes.
Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
