Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager for a fast-paced Mansfield, OH facility. You will report to the Plant Manager and lead both engineering and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient operations and on-time project delivery.

In this high-profile role you’ll drive continuous improvement, manage multi-shift operations, oversee budgets and capital equipment, and work with senior leadership to capitalize on growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering management experience.
• Experience managing a team of engineers and maintenance staff.
• Strong manufacturing background in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting multi-shift operations.
• Track record in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience overseeing budgets and capital projects.
• Experience in automated environments (PLC/robotics).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor the engineering and maintenance team.
• Manage day-to-day production engineering needs.
• Improve manufacturing processes and throughput.
• Lead projects to completion within budget and timelines.
• Oversee annual capital equipment budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Lead validation of new equipment.
• Develop and monitor engineering KPIs.
