Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager in the Mansfield, OH area to lead the engineering and maintenance function at a high-growth facility. You will report to the Plant Manager and oversee a team of engineers and maintenance staff, driving continuous improvement, automated optimization, and capital project execution.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, cross-functional collaboration and delivering on aggressive growth initiatives in a premier automotive supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• At least three years of manufacturing engineering management experience.
• Experience managing others and multi-shift operations.
• Strong continuous improvement background.
• Experience overseeing budgets and automated environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor the engineering and maintenance team.
• Improve manufacturing processes by eliminating bottlenecks and increasing throughput.
• Champion projects to completion within budget and timelines.
• Manage the annual capital equipment budget.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to completion.
• Support electrical troubleshooting including PLCs and robotics.
• Lead validation of new equipment and present results to management.
• Prioritize facilities and maintenance projects.
• Direct troubleshoot of equipment and delegate projects.
• Develop and improve preventative maintenance programs.
• Oversee external contractors and safety compliance.
• Prepare reports for upper management and monitor KPIs.
• Develop, monitor and improve engineering KPIs.
