Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems is offering an Engineering Leadership Program (ELP) that rotates candidates through Systems Engineering, Business Development, IRAD, and other areas of interest. You will pursue a technical master’s degree while receiving internal training and building a professional network.

Qualifications include a 3.2 GPA (3.6 preferred), internship/project experience, strong time management, communication, teamwork, and leadership. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical (Analog), Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to participate in rotation across multiple disciplines and pursue a technical master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Rotate within several disciplines including Systems Engineering, Business Development, IRAD, and other areas of interest.
• Complete a technical master’s degree and undergo internal training.
• Engage in community involvement and build a professional network.

Job description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical (Analog), Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.

Candidates must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As an Engineering Leadership Program (ELP) Member for General Dynamics Mission Systems you will rotate within several different disciplines including your major, Systems Engineering, Business Development, Internal Research and Development (IRAD) and the option to rotate into other areas of interest that you select. While completing different rotations you will also complete a technical master’s degree, undergo internal training, be involved in community engagement, and establish a strong professional network.

Workplace Options:
