Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems, based in Dedham, MA, is seeking a Software Engineer to research, design, develop and test software and tools for advanced cybersecurity and encryption products. You will contribute to projects across cyber, RF, and space domains, collaborating with project leaders to deliver capable solutions.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and agile experience, with hands-on work in Java, JavaScript (React), SQL, PostgreSQL, Hibernate and Spring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field is required; Agile experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
• Database experience (SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Java, Enterprise Java beans.
• Experience with JavaScript (React).
• Experience with Hibernate and Spring toolkit.
• At least 6 months of work experience.

What you bring to the table

• A Bachelor of Science in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related field is required; Agile experience preferred


• Working knowledge of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories


• Database Experience (SQL, Postgre SQL )


• Experience with Java, Enterprise Java working with Java beans


• Experience with JavaScript (React)

• At least 6 plus months work experience.
