Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer – General Dynamics Mission Systems

Sign-on bonus available up to $5,000, depending on qualifications.

Workplace Options: This position is mostly onsite in Florham Park, NJ, with flexibility for working from home on occasion. No 100% remote option.

As a Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a cross‑functional team responsible for design, integration, and test. Our customers approach us to solve their most demanding problems, and most of our projects require a considerable amount of creative thinking and a willingness to develop new solutions and take measured risks. As an engineer on our team, you would have the opportunity to gain broad electrical design experience and gain mentorship from others with decades of background in multiple technical disciplines.

Preferred Skills

Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leadership or Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
Analog and mixed‑signal circuit analysis, including Hyperlynx (PI and SI) and LTSpice
High‑voltage regulator design and associated design rules
Digital backplane design (e.g., 3U VPX) in compliance with VITA / SOSA specifications
