Job summary

Dimensional Fund Advisors is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering (Sales Technology) to lead the engineering team responsible for client asset reporting platforms and the broader Sales Technology ecosystem. The role requires hands-on coding in C#/.NET, data engineering, and systems integration, with a focus on AI-assisted software development and platform reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership with ability to coach and develop software engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience in C#/.NET, SQL Server, and data platforms like Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and develop engineers; build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Set long-term technical direction for the team’s architecture and practices, including AI-assisted engineering.
• Prioritize work using data-driven insights and ensure delivery of high-value features.
• Own operational health, reliability, security, and risk management of production systems.
• Communicate priorities, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.
